"House" of the Down Under

Kick on the floor, Melodic Vocal and sound that would make you feel love all the way... that is Jono Fernandez. Coming all the way from Sydney, Australia one of great producer that should be reckon with. Jose Fernandez started out producing his material ever since at the age of 15. Now he is collaborating with major people like Vance Musgrove from Aston Shuffle fame, Lot 49's Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes, Luke Chable, Seany B, Tom Piper, and even Marvin Priest. He has also known to have big support from people with the biggest name in dance music for instant like Axwell, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, James Zabiela, Hernan Cattaneo, Plump Djs, Anthony Pappa, TV Rock, Meat Katie, Kid Kenobi and Phil K.



The sound generated from Jono Fernandez are just excellent and kind of reminding a lot of the progressive house sound during the early 2000's and the mix of electro along the way just made it more hype as it is.


Recently Jono Fernandez also release a remix of "Fix You" by Cold Play which can be download at the band page on the link down below.

CYPRESS X RUSKO

ARTISTS : CYPRESS HILL & RUSKO

'Cypress x Rusko' is a collaboration between legendary hip hop group Cypress Hill and british dubstep producer Rusko. This collaboration was released on June 5th digitally and will be released August 14th on vinyl. The first single off the EP is "Roll It, Light It" and the second single is "Can't Keep Me Down" which features Damian Marley. Steering away from the darker side of dubstep this time around, Rusko brings a more upbeat synth-infused and drum-heavy sound to match rappers B-Real and Sen Dogg's trademark rhymes of kush/weed and gangsta infused life. With both camps being no strangers to fusions and experiments, you will be hearing a mixture of various genres such as dubstep, reggae, hip-hop and even some rock. This project would also mark another album/ep without DjMuggs for Cypress Hill, with Rusko taking full control of productions. However fans of dubstep in general and die hard Cypress fans would love this offering. This for those that love 'BONGS & BASS''!

My honest verdict: 
As good as it sounds and looks on paper, this collabo is eye opening and necessary to the game. As much as i do prefer the original sound of Cypress Hill from the old days, i am also a guy that loves changes so this genre bending mash up is fresh and awesome, but i do admit at times it gets too metallic. Then again, the formula works and the reviews around the globe states clearly that this 'ep'' is DOPE as hell. I'd rate it 7/10 - Greganite

ADAM KASTURI : JAGUAR

Ambiance, Dub, 2-step, minimal, electro and awesome Lyric. That Is Adam Kasturi hailing all the way from Bukit Indah, Ampang, Malaysia with his latest release of JAGUAR. An Awesome piece of artwork with rhythm that will make you lost in the trance of it's melody and lyric that defy the reality of post-modernization a rare thing to come by this days especially in the region of Malaysia which have very few producer going around this days. Highly recommended and he is also putting out the album FREE and you ravers can download it at the link below (P/S: It also come with a psychedelic cover as well)
